Budget GPU deciding factor?

Hey guys, need a good budget GPU suggestion. That'll be good enough for playing Watch-Dogs smoothly, close to the high-ultra settings. Also the games in near future. Preferably one with a GDDR5 memory. One thing I'd like to know is which should I give more precedence to? The Memory version(like DDR3 or DDR5) or the memory size(like 1GB or 2GB)?

So here goes my specs:-

AMD Phenom II X2 560 Black Edition Processor
Corsair 4GB RAM without Heat-sink
ASUS M5A78L-M LX V2 Motherboard
Frontech 600w Power Supply.

My budget is 6k, which can be extended to 7k max.
I have narrowed down to the Sapphire AMD/ATI Radeon R7 250 with Boost 1GB DDR5. Advise me on this too.

Solution
Get the R7 250 whose per. is~hd7750. You wouldn't have to change ur PSU also. GDDr5 memory is much faster than Gdd3 regardless of the Vram. Flipkart has got the ddr3 ver. of the card overpriced.Don't even think of that. And that's a great price. Remember, buy from the seller 'WS Retail" and you can download a free copy of game you want from the list of 35 games(that's a good offer).

what's your resolution? that card is not going to give you 60fps in high/ultra in games as intensive as watchdogs if you're playing on a 1080p monitor.

you need a gtx770 or 280x to get into that caliber graphics.

1gb gddr5 is plenty for entry level cards.
2gb is enough for midrange, and 3gb for top level cards

your CPU is a limiting factor as well.. i'd reccomend the gtx750..and i wouldn't go beyond that with your older dual core cpu

+1 for the GTX 750 Ti. That is probably the best graphics card you can get without your CPU becoming a serious bottleneck.

I will be able to run on even low quality OEM power supplies, sometimes even 300W ones. You won't need to worry about that, and you can play high to ultra settings on any game at 1080p, as long as the CPU doesn't bottleneck it.

As far as i know u need a 290/780 to play watch dogs smoothly(780-nvidia optimized). However, what psu do u have? What's ur screen resolution?what's ur budget?
The best budget card would be gtx750Ti and yes you should go with Nvidia because those shits made the game completely optimized for their gpu's.
And i think the 560B.E two extra hidden cores. Try to made a quad core only if u have a good PSU.

Yes. I've updated the thread with the budget and PSU. What manufacturer should i prefer ? ATI or nVIDIA?
And I have a 17inch monitor with a 4:3 ratio, 1600x1200 max with 85Hz refresh rate. That i'll be upgrading soon. Given its res all the cards will take it on easily right?

Thanks to all of you guys! :)

If you don't want to change your PSU, then I'd stick with the 750ti for now. It's a nice niche card for upgrading really old builds and for use with bad PSUs. It's probably the simplest choice right now.

Any other GPU on that system I'd be worried about.

Edit: You never mentioned your country lol, but I'm going to assume india :p
I guess the 7770 is your best option.

If you don't want to go 200+ over your budget, then get this one. R7 250
http://www.flipkart.com/sapphire-amd-ati-radeon-r7-250-boost-2gb-ddr3-2-gb-graphics-card/p/itmdqz82fnep7czg?pid=GRCDQZ82FNEP7CZG&srno=b_19&ref=26eaf22a-e612-4058-9c65-cef35f3bb8d2

I'd go for the 7770.

Whoa hoh the psu is of frontech? (one of the crappiest) mine was frontech and i still have it. I got frequent crashes with my hd7750.(with my crap 450W frontech psu).
However, a 7770 would be the best for that price range but be sure to change the PSU within 5-6 months.
Here are some suggestions:
1.HD7770-http://www.flipkart.com/sapphire-amd-ati-hd-7770-1-gb-gddr5-graphics-card/p/itmd7tgzhnsn39yr?pid=GRCD7TGZHNSN39YR&cmpid=content_graphics-card_8965229628_gmc_pla&tgi=sem,1,G,9226359,g,search,,25649953100,1o1,,,c,,,,,,,&gclid=CLDDjK_Khr8CFQqTjgodGrsABA

2.GTX 750(would be best for you and you don't have to change the PSU but you would have to extend your budget by a bit)-http://www.google.co.in/aclk?sa=l&ai=Clnojpi2jU8O9EtihuATPmYFA7Of8ygSsiuOZX5zpt-O9AQgEEAEgtlQoBVCJzuj1_f____8BYOXK5YO0DqABlMeP4QPIAQepAhmBu9Fv3lE-qgQnT9CcXs_2jKdauitT0W7zf_wVnd9h1f2Bim_cew-WUcDt7ei9vsRugAWQTsAFBaAGJoAH1LjwHpAHA-ASue_c_OCrzOeiAQ&sig=AOD64_1tMMsLE-Ndb_k9hZVonYXFJlO3Gg&ctype=5&rct=j&q=&ved=0CCEQww8&adurl=http://www.flipkart.com/zotac-nvidia-gtx-750-1-gb-ddr5-graphics-card/p/itmdtth6azznh4hh%3Fpid%3DGRCDTTH6AZZNH4HH%26cmpid%3Dcontent_graphics-card_8965229628_gmc_pla%26tgi%3Dsem,1,G,11214002,g,search,,25649953100,1o1,,,c,,,,,,,&cad=rja

A best fit would be a 750(if OP van afford it), otherwise get a R7 250/gtx650(zotac one doesn't require an auxillary power connector)/hd7770(requires auxillary power connector, but i think the PSU can handle that for a couple of months).
1.R7 250(with one free game)-http://www.flipkart.com/sapphire-amd-ati-radeon-r7-250-boost-1gb-ddr5-1-gb-graphics-card/p/itmdqz82gsj4gcmw?pid=GRCDQZ82GSJ4GCMW&otracker=from-search&srno=t_1&query=R7+250x&ref=124fb20e-92f6-4ac2-aae7-fe0b603f863f

2.gtx650-http://www.flipkart.com/zotac-nvidia-geforce-gtx650-1gb-1-gb-gddr5-graphics-card/p/itmddmmguvqfvwmz?pid=GRCDDMMGUVQFVWMZ&otracker=from-search&srno=t_1&query=gtx650&ref=da283e22-90d7-4ec5-b362-49fdc835807c

3.Hd7770-http://www.flipkart.com/sapphire-amd-ati-hd-7770-1-gb-gddr5-graphics-card/p/itmd7tgzhnsn39yr?pid=GRCD7TGZHNSN39YR&otracker=from-search&srno=t_1&query=hd7770&ref=fb76044b-f904-4ba2-afc0-d6515f1b4021

So now guys my confusion is right here.
1GB DDR5:-
http://www.flipkart.com/sapphire-amd-ati-radeon-r7-250-boost-1gb-ddr5-1-gb-graphics-card/p/itmdqz82gsj4gcmw?pid=GRCDQZ82GSJ4GCMW&otracker=from-search&srno=t_1&query=R7+250x&ref=124fb20e-92f6-4ac2-aae7-fe0b603f863f

or

2GB DDR3:-

http://www.flipkart.com/sapphire-amd-ati-radeon-r7-250-boost-2gb-ddr3-2-gb-graphics-card/p/itmdqz82fnep7czg?pid=GRCDQZ82FNEP7CZG&srno=b_19&ref=26eaf22a-e612-4058-9c65-cef35f3bb8d2

I can reach till 7k, but not more than that, cause after hearing you guys I think I'll need a PSU replacement soon. Or else I'd go for the 7770 HD (http://www.flipkart.com/sapphire-amd-ati-hd-7770-1-gb-gddr5-graphics-card/p/itmd7tgzhnsn39yr?pid=GRCD7TGZHNSN39YR&otracker=from-search&srno=t_1&query=hd7770&ref=fb76044b-f904-4ba2-afc0-d6515f1b4021)

Need a final decision now. And it's hokum that I should use an AMD/ATI card having an AMD processor right?
