Hey!
I came across a new AOC monitor (the model is 24" G2460FQ, it's coming in a day or so (when I'm writing this) to storages in Finland.), which has 144hz and 1ms response time, but I looked up It's specifications a little bit closer and saw this: "1920x1080@60Hz D-Sub/HDMI; 1920x1080@144Hz DVI-D/DisplayPort@" Here's what I understand: It can only run 60hz with D-Sub and HDMI, and I only have VGA and currently using HDMI, so does this mean I have to get 1 DisplayPort or 1 DVI-D cable to be able to run it with 144hz? I would appreciate if someone would answer, because I'm going to buy this monitor soon mostly meant for gaming. It currently costs 220€ which is a good price for such specifications, but at first I had problems to believe so, but ppl haven't complained about AOC so far, but just dead pixels in months on exact monitors.
Thanks!
P.S Here is a link for the monitor, but everything is in finnish: http://www.jimms.fi/tuote/G2460FQ
and yes, my graphics card supports DVI-D and DisplayPort (GTX 670 Mini O.C)

Solution
Many monitors will come with a couple of cables.

I would wait until you get the monitor and try it out.

Most likely, your gtx670 is not going to be able to sustain 60fps anyway.
If needed, a dp cable or a dvi cable is relatively cheap.
