In rarer cases, you may also be able to upgrade the CPU, and in the most extraordinary of cases, you may also be able to upgrade graphics (MXM cards.)

If you want to find out what processor is in your laptop, left-click on the Windows start/orb at the bottom left hand corner of your screen. Thereafter right-click and select "Properties" whilst your cursor is hovered over "Computer" on the right hand side of the start menu. A new pop-up window will state which processor you have inside your laptop, below your Windows Index Rating.

If you want more details about your CPU, you may download and run CPU-Z.

All the best. :)
