To use the USB3.0 ports on the front of the case, you need either...
1) a USB 3.0 header on the motherboard: http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/ASUS/M5A97_EVO/images/usb3_header.jpg
- or -
2) an adapter to plug the 3.0 cable into a USB2.0 header: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/pimg/CB-107-AK_68806_350.jpg
(the ports will operate at USB 2.0 speeds)
I don't believe that motherboard has the 19 pin USB 3.0 header. So you will have to go with option 2.

How about the ASUS Xonar? Is it practical to purchase it?
I wanted to occupy my slots since it looks really bare with just 1 GPU. lol
Can't stick another GPU for Xfire though since what slot I have left are the old PCI and the x1PCI-e.

Yes, the Asus Xonar is a highly rated sound card. There are several model designations with the Xonar name on them. But not being an audiophile, I'll leave the qualifications to someone else.
