Hi can you please test your system with prime95/mprime and see if same behavior occurs?

http://www.mersenne.org/download/

download the linux 32 or 64 bit version. ( i use 64bit)
extract files then run mprime file.
  1. tar -xzf p95v285.linux64.tar.gz
  2. ./mprime
