I am planning on making a custom gaming PC ,of which i will primary be using it for gaming and possibly light editing.

The preferred budget would be under 2500$ but i am willing to be lenient.

If possible i would like to know if this build would be able to run on high/ultra on heavy constricting games like crysis.

I Plan on using SLI /Crossfire eventually but not from the start since i would only be buying one graphic card at a time.Crossfire is not necessarily but would like the extra power.

I would also most likely be running on a 2 or 3 monitor system.

Since this is my first build i am open to all advice and tips and would appreciate them.

The build i have in mind was this.If you post any changes could you be explain why the parts you chose were better.

I would definitely recommend going with a SSD for OS and HDD for everything else. If you just want to go with an HDD, then I would suggest going for a minimum of 7200rpm hdd instead of that 5900rpm..

Ok thanks should i get a higher HDD and a SDD?
OR just one of them?
Also how big should the SDD be?

You will also need a 950 W power supply for those cards else they won't work as they should

Depends on what you like. If you want your OS to boot in less than 10 secs then get an SSD too (128 GB), else just get a HDD as NBSN said @ 7200 rpm

Analgetic, good catch with the power supply. Yeah, to properly support those graphics cards with the appropriate connectors and wattage, along with the rest of the system and any future upgrades such as additional hard drives, a better PSU would definitely be recommended.

That will work much better. The SSD will be great for holding your operating system while the HDD will be able to hold everything else. There are even faster HDDs out there than 7200rpm, but that is the ideal speed for most builds right now.
