How do I discharge a case?

I'm going to be taking my H440 (the front intake is not restricted at all, but the top causes my CPU temperature to go up about 10 degrees Celcius with my 240mm all in one, which is not something I like) case back to Microcenter tomorrow and I am going to pick up a Corsair Carbide Air 540/ My issue is that the case (from what I have heard) can come with wuite a bit of charge built up. I was wondering how I can discharge it before I build in it.

Solution
a) Gold standard: ANti-static mat and anti-static writs strap grounded to the mat

b) Just fine. Anti-static wrist strap grounded to the case

c) passable. Touch hte case with skin while opening components and placing them in contact with the case.

d) daredevil. Wear nylon and polyester and build on the living room carpet. (don't do this).

When you say anti static mat, do you mean place it on the mat?

I have done C before, but yeah, the case has a giant side window, so finger prints would be an issue haha
