I just ordered a EVGA GTX 770 1111MHZ Superclocked w/ ACX Cooler 2GB GDDR5 256BIT 7010MHZ HDMI SLI Graphics Card because I decided to upgrade from my gt 640.
I was wondering if anyone could please help me with selecting a new Motherboard to run this card on for a good price and solid performance.
And also help me select a proper power supply unit for this card.
Thanks for the help!

You current motherboard would probably run this fine, unless you are looking to change your motherboard & possibly your CPU.

What motherboard do you currently have?

What PSU do you have?

What is your budget.

I have no clue what my MB is all I know is that it's an Asus and a pretty crappy one at that because it was covered by my warranty and instead of replacing it with the one I had they gave me a lower quality MB without me knowing (I just wanted my pc to work, because I went through alot with the company) I have a 450 watt PSU atm and I know that is not good enough. My budget is whatever is best for the price nothing over 200 i'd guess? I really want the best for my money...I'm running Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3330 CPU @ 3.00GHz (4 CPUs), ~3.0GHz
Memory: 8192MB RAM thats some basic info. If you really need my Mother board specifics il get them, and any other info you may need just ask and il do my best to provide.

If you are running a Core i5 your motherboard will most likely support the GTX770, I would leave it as is unless you run into a problem or if you plan on upgrading to 2 770's in SLI.

For your PSU I would get a 600W just to be safe on the usage side. Here is one for $60.

I think you should be good to go. But if you really want to upgrade your motherboard let me know and I will advise on some LGA1155 boards that will run your i5 3rd gen.

I'm reading reviews for this psu and people are saying it's very loud and has problems with installation...Do you know if this is accurate? If not this seems like a very good price for a psu from what little I know about these things.

Also would I be better off getting a higher wattage unit? And if you know of any PC cases worth buying I'm sure I would need one to fit the new card and power supply. Thank you for all the help Jitledoux.

For the reviews on the Supernova, I have the 1000w version and I cant hear a thing from it. No problems with power either.

You do not need a higher watt for this card unless you plan on getting 2. But you could always go higher if you desire, it would just be a waste without anything pulling that kind of power.

The NZXT Guardian case is a decent mid tower case.

The Corsair 760T is the case I have, if you don't mind the cost, and the size (it is VERY big) it is an excellent quality case, with tons of room, and options.

My gtx 770 is not suit for this case. So i waist money to buy it.(And i try to break it to get more places nad fail.)
So if you use the GTX 770 dont buy it!!! do you know for sure that this case can fit the 770? or is this guy just trolling I'd hate to buy a case and have to send it back when I recieve it.

Really as long as the mid tower can fit the PSU you provided,The 770,and maybe a new motherboard one day in the future, But the mid tower looks to be decent for the price...I dont actually know what I want.
