I have a Dell xps 15 L502x with both an integrated Intel graphics card and a dedicated Nvidia geforce GT 525m but only the integrated card is used on the laptop's screen. I have tried several things but nothing seems to work, so far I've tried
- Right clicking and selecting to run games with Nvidia
- Setting it as default in Nvidia control panel
- Disabling the integrated- this just caused neither to be used
Nothing so far has worked, every time I ran dxdiag it kept displaying that the intel was being used (except when it was disabled, then it just said n/a). On external monitor it runs with the nvidia.
