I don´t know if i choose:

Crossfire -> MSI R9 290X Lightining

or

SLI -> EVGA GTX 780 Ti Superclocked ACX

Or even if i pick a single EVGA GTX Titan Black or Sapphire R9 295x2... I think ill be playing most on 1080p, 4K is for the future lol
And i also would like to know if a Asus Sabetooth Z97 is good for a Crossfire or SLI.
Thanks guys for any help xD

Even an R9 290 or 780 single card will drive any game with a 1080P monitor to 60 FPS.

So if you have a normal 1080P monitor, a single card will do, the 290X or 780ti will give you some headroom. Do not get SLI/CF for a single 1080P monitor, waste of money and power.

What kind of games do you play? It is kind of a mixed bag. Some people like AMD, some like Nvidia.

I personally like Nvidia's SLI (I have 2 GTX 770's in SLI).

You Asus Sabertooth Z97 can handle 4 Nvidia cards in SLI.

He is correct on the 1080P issue. You are better off getting a single 780TI or a 290X. And once you upgrade to a 4K monitor you could get another one then.

hi Ramdomico,

Asus z97 will be able to handle 2 way SLI or 3 way CF.
However only running at 8x,8x or 8x,4x,4x..thus it it best made to run 2 way SLI or CF.
If only using 1080p a single 780ti or 290x will do.
But to plan for the future, maybe think about having 1440p or even 4k in the future. Thus get the best price for either of them and SLI/CF them later.

Good luck.

First of all, I'd like to say that's going to be one killer rig. I'm jealous of you... Haha anyway everyone above is correct. If you're gaming at 1080p, its not worth going SLI or Crossfire immediately. I'd recommend getting just one card and either one of those would cards you listed would be considered overkill right now for 1080p. If you really do plan on going 4k in the future (or 3 1080p monitors for surround/eyefinity) I'd pick up the second card before you switch resolutions. Though for either high res setups, the amount of vram may become an issue... That's where the Titan Black would be a better option if you really do plan on going to a higher res. If you aren't sure about going to a higher res, I'd recommend staying away from the Titan and getting the 780ti or 290x.

Now for crossfire or SLI. I only have personal experience from my own SLI setup, and from it I can say I've had no problems with SLI. Nvidia is good with releasing quality drivers quickly. I've heard the AMD doesn't produce drivers as well as Nvidia, but I have no personal experience with AMD as I am a loyal customer of Nvidia :p and cannot verify the truth of that. Either route you go will result in a mouth watering rig.

Now if I could rep Nvidia a bit, I'd maybe point you a bit towards running sli 780tis as the 780ti has quite a bit of oc headroom. I've read of 780tix hitting 1200mhz consistently leading to a increase of performance by another 10% while maintaining cool temps. The 780 ti is more power efficient and stays cooler, while being able to oc quiet high and so I'd personally go for sli 780tis over crossfire 290xs.
