Looks like a good rig exept that you CANT overclock with a h97 so getting a 4670k would be useless. Also IMO that cpu is overkill for that gpu.

It says it supports intel turbo boost technology and that the processor does aswell.

Turbo boost in not overclocking(most cpu have a turbo boost). The cpu you are getting CANT be overclocked using that motherboard so I would suggest to get either a z97 or a z87(the only motherboards you can overclock that cpu with). If you don't want to spend the extra cash in buying a unlocked 4670 just buy the 4670(non k) that is basically the same cpu, only that you can't overclock.

See what turbo boost is here: http://techchannel.radioshack.com/turbo-mode-intel-proc...

What he meant is that, the 4670k has an unlocked multiplier, therefore it can be overclocked (that is the point of owning a -K processor) but since you have in mind a H97 motherboard, you don't need a -K processor, but the regular model i5 4670 that is also cheaper. Yes, turbo boost will work regardless of being a H97 or Z97 motherboard with either a 4670 or 4670k.

Right i get what your saying thanks well i probably wont even be overclocking for a while, in terms of gaming and CAD how well would it perform if i get the i5 4760.

Honestly if you won't overclock don't even bother in getting a 4670k. Get a cpu that does not end in "k" and that means you can't overclock. Hope this helps

It works out cheaper with the gigabyte MB and that PSU.

so may aswell go with that and look into overclocking at a later date when i need to, how well can you guess it would perform for gaming and CAD sorry to be such a noob haha and thanks for the help =]

It looks better now:) . I would buy the 4670k because if you are ever interested in overclocking you can :) .
