Hi there guys, a while ago I spilled some milk on my laptop keyboard... Lucky enough, the laptop kept functioning properly and all of the keys were working fine.
But then the row/column (lol) which contains the keys "2","w","s","x" and "Alt" started stammering (don't know if that's the word) and sometimes, for a period of time it either stops working (only that column), or I have to press the keys really hard, or they work just fine, just like any other key...
Yup, it's kind of weird... What can I do? Is there a diagnosis for this? A specific way to clean the keyboard of a samsung NP350-v5c laptop?

Thanks i advance ;)

I would imagine so, the problem is getting the specific model for my country and my laptop model.... Besides, it costs around 90$... Which is too much for a stupid keyboard (lol)... Can't I just open it up and repair the keys that sometimes don't work?

You definitely need to do something =). If you thing you can do that, go for it.

You got dried milk back there. I would just have the keyboard replaced. Its one of the easiest things to replace in a laptop.

I think I can, I managed to open the laptop down to the bone, which demands taking pretty much everything off... I was able to take out the laptop and there was some residue on the back? Don't know if it could interfere with the circuitry...
I can clean it but I don't know how... If there's specific care to be taken...
Are there any solutions I can prepare for rinsing the remaining residue off of it?

I saw this video of a guy explaining more or less how a keyboard works, but I think it's in Hindi, which I don't understand...

From the gestures and drawings he makes (lol) it seems like the columns of keys, such as the one I described, have kind of an interruptor on the end of them (connecting all the keys of that column)... If it is so, it might be the issue I'm facing...

Thanks in advance

Only I think you have milk and not a tiny green speck.
