I haven't done a test, just the case gets really warm and my pc gets really loud and I don't think its right to have do that while, not sure how to do the tests either
First thing you might want to do is open the case and make sure the dust is cleaned out of the case, the fans & the PSU (Everywhere). Make sure the fans are all working and spinning properly. No dust in the heatsinks. Keep space around the PC so it can get fresh air & try running it in a room that's about 75 degrees or less to create the optimal conditions.
To test your temps, just install CPUID HWmonitor and it will display the temps in an easy to read format for you. It will also tell you if your fans are spinning and how fast.

Cooling your PC down should have a positive impact on its performance.
I went on to sniper elite v2 and this is the results after just joining a game and running around for literally 20 secs

Did you notice the performance issues for those 20 seconds?
The temps weren't too bad from what I could see, but that one fan is panting at 99% while 2 are showing 0%.
How many fans do you have installed?
Have you done the cable management & made sure the dust is cleaned out?
