First my current setup:

CPU: Intel i3-3220
Motherboard: Asus P8B75-M micro-ATX LGA 1155
Memory: 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1333mHz Memory
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Video Card: Gigabyte Radeon 7870 2GB
Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA NEX750B 80PLUS Bronze Certified

I have mainly been playing BF4 lately, it is very CPU-intensive with the 64 player matches and my computer is not strong enough to run a consistent 60 FPS even on all low settings at 1080p. The main thing I want to upgrade is my CPU and I am trying to decide between the i5-3570k, i5-4670k, and whatever Broadwell i5 comes out later this year.

So my question is, should I get the i5-3570k or upgrade my motherboard to a LGA 1150 for a Haswell/Broadwell i5

And as a side-note is my 8GB of Ram worth upgrading to a faster 8GB or 16GB of Ram?

Thanks for any help that can be provided.

I would go with the 3579k for a CPU upgrade, the extra $150 or so extra to go haswell/refresh is not worth the gain. 8 gb should be enough ram. One thing I would suggest is to bring up some hardware monitoring tools while you play to see if your CPU is running at 100% or your ram is being completely used. This may help get you the part you actually need
