Hope someone can help me out. I'm getting ready to purchase a new system and I happened upon this combo deal for Cool Master peripherals. I have no knowledge at all about this area (as it is, I am barely scratching the surface of what constitutes quality components). Realize I'll need new peripherals too. Please let me know what you think about quality and price.

Thanks!

Those are actually quite good for the price, though there's some caveats depending on what you want.

the KB has no macros, so that may be a minus if you're looking for that. being from the stealth series, you may see yourself having a hard time typing as the keys are all labeled on the sides of the keys, so you may need some getting used to. i'm happy with my MX Brown, but mileage varies per individuals, so consider the type of mechanical switch you'd want. personally, being an owner of the CM Quickfire Rapid, the lack of a numpad was a negative as i needed it from time to time, though this may not apply to you.

as for the mouse; the sensors are great. though you may want to check for a firmware update upon purchase; you may get one...

as for the mouse; the sensors are great. though you may want to check for a firmware update upon purchase; you may get one that comes with an old firmware which will drive the CPU through the roof. the mouse is mostly meant for for claw/ fingertip grip users, and are reported to be comfy for the job. if you're a palm grip user, unless you got small hands, you may want to reconsider a larger mouse.

not sure of the bungee & mousepad. but the for the price, looks ok to me. a CM Spawn + Quickfire Stealth already costs ~$105 on it's own.
