That is the only time it rebooted. So far, it hasn't rebooted on me since. I think it happened the first time because I kept trying to power on the system before realizing that I forgot the switch on the PSU, thus draining the PSU. Is this normal? Will this cause damage to my system? Can someone explain why this is happening?

Be specific.
Did it reboot during the POST?
Did it reboot during installation of a OS or using the OS?
Did it reboot in BIOS?

I'm sorry. I'm not 100% sure what POST is but it didn't get to the install or even the BIOS. It literally turned on for 1 second, I heard a faint click, then the system restarted. I remember because the fans only ran for 1-2 seconds before powering down to reboot.

Post On Self Test happens when you see the loading screen. very odd. Can you post your system build? Possible you bought a crap PSU or mobo. Either that or there was a power surge and your PSU turned off to protect itself.
