So in February I build my PC with the following spec:
Cpu - i5 4670K
Cpu Cooler - Corsair h100i
Motherboard - Gigabyte ga-z87x-ud4h
Ram - Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600
Gpu - EVGA GeForce GTX 770 2GB Dual Superclocked ACX
PSU - EVGA 650W ATX12V / EPS12V
Case - NZXT Source 530
Windows 8.1

Other then a few GPU issues (originally had a ASUS 760 but upgraded) everything has been working perfectly. I had a Cooler master sickleflow fan that started to die on me. I unplugged it since I was moving that week. At the new place, I went to show my buddy how the fan was constantly speeding up and turning off every 5 seconds or so, but when I plugged it in, it stayed on and was working normally. Figured I would leave it till I got my new fan that Saturday. But on Friday, my computer just started having a constant beep from the motherboard speaker.

According to the gigabyte support page(http://www.gigabyte.com/support-downloads/faq-page.aspx?fid=816), its a memory error. I ran memtest86+ 2 different times. One time was for only 2 times through and the second was 8 times through and no errors came back each time I have done it(and no buzzing/beep during either test). I have checked that everything is correctly plugged in and secure. Everything is seated correctly. I'm at a lost. I'm thinking I need a new motherboard but don't know what else to try/do before I go and take it apart and install a new motherboard.

My computer reads all 8GB of ram and can play BF4, Titanfall, and Borderlands 2 all fine with no problem, no buzzing/beeps. I have left the valley benchmark up for 30 minutes to an hour and no buzzing/beeps. It doesn't always do it and I can't see anything in common to make it happen. Sometimes It does it right after I log in, other times after I've been playing for a while and other times it won't do it for 3,4,5 days at a time. Then it will just start again.

Sorry for the Wall
TL DR
Computer build in February
Fan dies, unplug, and plug in again a week or so later
computer starts making constant buzzing/beep at random times
totally random when it does it
ran memtest86+ no errors
plays games fine
need new motherboard?

Solution
The history of this motherboard having this problem is a given. In the cases on the internet, the systems were all functional except for the beep code.

The only way I know to eliminate the processor is to put it in another working motherboard. I would RMA this motherboard. I would change to another brand of motherboard on the exchange.

After I unplugged the fan, it stopped for 4-5 days before it started again. I've checked the bios and everything related to fan monitoring has been disabled. There is a bios update that I'll do when I get home as well as clearing the cmos. Hopefully that will solve the problem.

The first thing to try is to simply reseat all of the RAM memory. That involves removing each RAM memory stick, clean the contacts with a clean clothe, blow out the slot, and then reinstall Also make sure that the each RAM (identical) set is in the same color of memory slot. You can consult your manual for directions on installing RAM.

Ok, so I updated the bios, cleared the cmos and reseated the ram and it would still randomly beep/buzz. I tried my buddy's ram from his computer and still would make the buzzing/beeping. I'm definitely confused and at a lost at this point. I recorded a little video so show/listen to the sound. http://youtu.be/v-eBSHaBFjs

I listened to your recording. I did a little investigation. You have an AMI BIOS.

I also searched for "Gigabyte ga-z87x-ud4h beep codes" on Google. Apparently you are definitely not alone on this problem. There were many posts on this problem.

The continuous beep is exactly what you get if you power up the motherboard without RAM installed. RAM ERROR is the beep code. I would run memtest overnight if you can. The error may be due to errors on the RAM stick. It could also be a memory controller issue on the motherboard itself. If it is still in warranty you may be able to have the motherboard replaced.

I have ran memtest over night and it came back with no errors. As well as used my buddies known good working ram and it still does it. Definitely thinking it's a memory controller issue on the motherboard it self at this point.

I could swear on these newer systems the memory controller is in the CPU?
The connection from the slot to the CPU could be bad etc.. though.
RMAing The motherboard would be the best option in this situation.

Confirming that the CPU is fine in another machine would be best.
And yes, since 1155 or 1156 intel has had the memory controller and the PCI-e X16 controller in the CPU (Core 2 era was the last to use a north bridge chip I believe.)

Different brand is a bit overkill but I would agree on different model.
