help with windows registry problem

hey
i installed the wrong registry file on windows xp registry and now the windows are all messed up , first i can't enter windows with my normal user , i have to enter it throw administrator , and the screen is Stuck at 640x480 mode, 4-bit Color and i cant change it , so i tried to download the video card driver and when i tried to install it i got an error that say: This computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software , i have windows xp professional , so i know that the problem is with windows registry but i don't know how to fix it , do you have any idea how to fix this

Re-install Windows. Don't forget to save your data and reload it later. And reinstall all your drivers and apps.

Then leave well enough alone.

The quickest and most effective method will be to backup important files and then re-install windows entirely.

And while you are reinstalling windows.. you need go to a supported OS
XP went out of support in April - so you REALLY need move to a more modern OS

can i make a backup of my xp ( because there is one program that i need to use and its old and i don't have the setup file to install it again ) and when i finish installing the new windows and restore the backup file

No. You have to re-install all apps.
