Hi, I have just completed my first desktop computer build. When I powered it up for the first time everything appeared to be working fine, then I noticed that both my case fans were not rotating. Each of these fans are plugged into the motherboard via matching molex connectors to a four pin motherboard connector. Power is reaching the motherboard because the CPU fan is working and the led lights are illuminated. I also know that the fans are ok since I have tried running them directly from the PSU and they run fine. Is there anyway that I can check if power is reaching the fan connector points on the motherboard

Fans usually have a 3 pin plug while many motherboards have 4 pin connectors, maybe you plugged them in the wrong set of three?
