So I built a new computer, here are the specs.

i7-4770K 3.5GHz Quad-Core
Corsair H100i 77.0 CFM Liquid
Asus Maximus VI Hero ATX LGA1150
Patriot Viper 3 Low Profile Red 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-2133
Samsung 840 EVO 250GB 2.5" SSD
GeForce GTX 780 Ti 3GB Superclocked ACX
EVGA 1000W ATX12V / EPS12V
Windows 8.1

I'm running into a problem with the h100i , everything is installed correctly however it is not being picked up in device manager, I have the usb plugged directly into a 2.0 header on the motherboard and tried the two I have on this motherboard but still no luck.

This results in the h100i not being picked up by corsair link so I can control the fans, change the led color, and monitor the fans. Corsair link only picks up my gpu fan.

I do not get an "update firmware" option in corsair link either, I am guessing that is because windows is not even registering the h100i. However both fans spin on the h100i and when I first boot up the computer they spin extremely fast for a second.

I also cannot control the fans via AI Suite 3, Although I much rather use corsair link for that cool led controller! Please help in anyway possible =) My temps are pretty decent I would really love to be able to put a fan curve setting on as well!

Hello man

DO a CMOS reset. There is a jumper in the lower left hand corner of you're MOBO. Look in the manual for the exact location. When you do reset, make SURE the PC is off and unplugged. Then plug it back in and start it up. It should display a screen telling you all of the system components. Unless you want to change anything in the BIOS, skip the screen and let it boot.
