custom built computer wont boot?

i have a custom built computer that i built about 3 years ago. and it recently just stoped turning on. i bought a new and better psu and it still wont boot?? i am thinking it might be the motherboard. i have tried two different video cards and i know they work. and nothing happens. if you could help me that would be great. the motherboard is a asus and i dont know the model. it has an intel core i5 2500k in it at 3.0GHz i think.

it doesn't turn on at all or just turn on and then turns off and at which step of booting is this happening and do you hear any beeps before turn off

you need to be more specific to this error or just record a video with voice and send it to me

I have had the same issue and it was a bad motherboard.

i have since fixed the problem, it was the motherboard and the cpu. switch to a intel core i5 1150 4690k
