Well i was had just overclocked my processor using setfsb as my mobo didnt supported overclocking through BIOS. Everything went fine. I took the top slider to 160. I rebooted my pc for a couple of times and everything was okay. But after a while i went into my BIOS and changed my ram configuration from automatic to manual and from that time this problem persists. Please help.
I am 14 but surely not a noob. I am not writing down my specs as i dont think it matters. But yes i have a Intel core 2 Duo e4600. My ram is 1gb ddr2-667

Solution
reset bios back to defaults by either,
press the reset bios button if you have 1.
or
turn off the pc and the psu
and short a bios clear jumper, or remove the battery and short the terminals for a few seconds with residual power

(residual power is left when you turn off the pc , then the psu, it should last a minimum of 30 seconds),

if you have a bios jumper then move it from 1&2 to 2&3 for a few seconds then swap it back, again with residual power only.
if you still cant get into bios you may have damaged something.
see if your cpu multi is strapped to the ram multi. if so when you increase the cpu speed the ram will also increase so when you had it on auto the ram would probably have changed ratio to get back to the default 667 timing or there abouts. setting it to manual would likely have forced it onto a higher multi than its designed to run at.
so check your northbridge strap settings and adjust your ram multi accordingly.

Solution
if you dont know what your doing so you need to get help from some 1 you know who knows pc's, not 1 of your mates who thinks he knows find some 1 who knows. if you cant do that then take it to a shop and have a pro look at it.
or
post your motherboard make and model
read your motherboard manual on how to reset the bios. if you cant find it/dont have it, download it. there easy to follow.
