Hello! I made a post a few weeks ago looking for a new CPU and Motherboard, I also found out through that was that I needed to upgrade my ram. Taking the answers into consideration I would like to know if all of these parts are suitable for each other and if there is anything I should change that is in a similar price range. I am going to be upgrading my CPU, Motherboard and RAM, as well as including a new case that I might be purchasing that I think will be able to fit everything.

My current specs:

Operating System
Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit SP1

CPU
AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+
Windsor 90nm Technology

RAM
4.00GB Single-Channel DDR2 @ 334MHz (5-5-5-15)

Motherboard
Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. M52L-S3P (Socket M2)

Graphics
T24C300 (1920x1080@60Hz)
1023MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 Ti (ASUStek Computer Inc)

Storage
465GB Seagate ST350041 8AS SCSI Disk Device (SATA) 35 °C

What I'm looking at purchasing:

RAM:

Corsair CML8GX3M2A1600C9B Vengeance Low Profile 8GB

Or

G.Skill 8GB DDR3-1600, F3-1600C11D-8GIS (Suggested in my previous thread)

Motherboard (2 Options):

ASROCK 90-MXGTA0-A0UAYZ H97M Pro4 Motherboard (Suggested in my previous thread)

Or

Gigabyte Z87X-UD3H Motherboard

CPU:

Intel i5 4460 Quad Core CPU

And the case (I think everything would fit in here, but I'd appreciate suggestions for other cases):

Aerocool Mechatron

Thanks.

Yes, they will work fine.
For the RAM, if the price is similar, I will buy the Corsair CML8GX3M2A1600C9B Vengeance Low Profile 8GB 1) because it is low profile you have more fixable. 2) It has the better timing cl9, other one is cl11.

For the MB I will take the H97M because your i5 4460 is the non-k version, if you buy the z87 MB you pay the ocing function but you can't use it. But you can get the ASUS brand H87, H97, B85, and H81 series motherboard if you want, then you can use it for ocing the k version 4th intel CPU in case you change your mind to upgrade the k version in the future.

Thanks. That ram that you had mentioned is around the same price, if not a little cheaper so I will pick that one up instead.

For the MB, I will look into getting one from Asus (probably one of the three you have mentioned) but I will leave the thread open to see what other people say/suggest. Thanks.
