I am looking for a gaming laptop, or gaming laptop brand that lasts about 3 years. I want a PC company, not apple.
Thanks!

price = below $1250

Here is a $1280 Asus ROG laptop. Good quality, decent GPU, should be able run all games in the near future, just not on max settings.

Here is a $1260 MSI laptop. Also good quality and decent hardware.

I have owned both an ASUS gaming laptop and a MSI Gaming Laptop and can say that both are great on quality. Cant say much on warranty or customer service as i never had to use it.

MSI and Asus are 2 good ones.

What is your price range?

What are you really asking?
What laptop is sturdiest and will last through 3 years of abuse, or what laptop can you buy today will still be able to play new games 3 years from now? These are 2 different questions. One has to do with overall quality(to last), and the other deals with capability of the machine.

I think he ideally want to know which manufactures make a laptop that will be quality and last through some beatings, and powerful enough to still be powerful for the next 3 years.

Don't know why such a general question. As all manufactures make low budget, low end, low light gaming, low gaming, gaming, max gaming, and just ultra gaming laptops. And all except the gaming and higher laptops are usually poorer quality.

I would've stated a budget and specs looking for, along with this question. But yea..

Very true, I've had both, and the asus ive owned the 765m from last year, and all models from this. Can honestly say, for gaming the msi gives you more for your money, and good quality. Asus gives great quality, and runs cooler but lower specs. Gaming the msi will run almost as cool as the asus, really close. For rendering and things you do 100% load on, the msi will get hot, then 'fan' will get really loud, and run a deal hotter than the asus. The asus will run both fans, you'll hear the fans (vs msi is like a hair dryer) but they wont be loud, and itll run a good deal cooler. The msi will be on bridge of thermal throttling and sound like wife is drying her hair doing so, the asus will be good.

But gaming wise, msi good quality great specs, little hotter, fans louder.
Asus, great quality, good specs, little cooler, quiet.

Both will give decent battery life when not gaming. And 1-1.5 hours of gaming.

Theres Lenovo 510 and such, gives sli 755m graphics, competes well for about a grand. But heat will be horrendous, fans obnoxious, and battery pretty much a joke, with or without gaming.

~Edit~
I see the msi isn't the gt with 870m, its the ge with 860m. For same price as asus, I'd go asus all day. Better of all worlds. and the 860m is no joke.
