Hi there.

I currently have 1 x BenQ XL2411T monitor. Looking at the Asus ROG 1440p 120/144 hz monitor. Though it might end up being a bit pricey in the UK if the $800 price tag is true (likely to be £700+)

So considering getting two of the newer model XL2411Z's as my side monitors.

Which would you go for? Currently have an i7 3770k at 4.3 GHz, 16GB DDR3 1600 CL8 RAM and a 780 Ti Windforce OC.

I know some games don't run in triple screen etc, but which would be better overall experience? desk space isn't an issue either.

My dad has my old 780 SC ACX, so if need be can grab another one of those and swap them round, though the old man will need a bigger case as well but can get one for his rig for like £40.

Just interested in seeing which you favour and why.

BTW: will likely be upgrading to the 800 series a little time after they come out depending on how much VRAM etc are on them and depending on their price. The above solution might be better though 500w + is starting to get a bit expensive for electricity when I can game an entire day away lol

grab a korean 1440p that is overclockable. I run an xstar that will easily do 110hz and I pair like $280 shipped and it arrived in 5 days.

look nicer than 1080s too, 1440 is starting to get much more main stream as well. 4k is still to expensive, but there are some in the $700 range if you want to go that route also but I would recommend adding a second 780ti possibly

ill send you a good link on them from overclock.net which I am also part of no disrespect to tomshardware.

these monitors are pls apple screens if I'm not mistaken, these are basically just good screens in plastic housing, people say they dont trust the stands etc but they arent that bad and actually look nice. mines still standing for about 4+ months so far.

viewing angles are very very good, colors are awesome once calibrated
