Hey there, I am just about to start building a computer but I am unsure whether the parts I have selected all fit together.
http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/wtkmFT
That is the link for the components I have chosen.
The list does not include a HDD because I already have the part. I ordered a 2TB Sata WD Green Desktop Hard Drive 64MB Cache.
I have never build a PC before and I want to use the computer for video editing/gaming. Would be brilliant if someone with experience in building computers could respond to help me out and tell me whether all of these parts fit together?

Hi and welcome to Tom's forum.

The parts are compatible and can works without problems but I would change the PSU for this one: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/xfx-power-supply-p1750b...

Another question that I have, do you have plans of overclock the CPU? Because that is a locked CPU.

Why do you reccomend that power supply? It is 750W and I only require 450W?
Also, I am about to sound like a complete "noob" but I don't really know what you mean by overclock the CPU. I will be using the computer pretty much all day everyday and editing/rendering videos constantly. Not too sure if that is overclocking the CPU? :S

Agreeded on all counts. Never underestimate the value of a good power supply.

Why do I need a power supply that is that big? What is wrong with the power supply I selected?

I do not find any detailed specs about how much current per line can support that PSU, that personally is important information for me. The PSU could be good since is Gold certified, but I prefer a PSU that give me detailed information.
