Hello and thanks for looking,

I am looking to upgrade my CPU, as I feel it is too weak to go with the rest of my computer, it always seems to hold it back for gaming.

I currently have the AMD Phenom II x4 B93 stock @ 2.8Ghz, I either want to upgrade to fx-4350 or fx-6300, and I would like to know how much more FPS I would gain (estimate) on games like Watch_Dogs, or Battlefield 4?

On Watch Dogs at the moment (on high, 1680x1050) I get around 27-40 fps, and now seems like the right time to upgrade.

Mini question: fx-4350 or fx 6300 for gaming? :D

Rest of my computer:

GPU: ASUS R9 270 OC DirectCUII
RAM: 8GB 1600mhz
PSU: 750W

Thank You for all answers :)

Your board, while not the greatest, supports the FX 6300. If you had to get a new motherboard too, I would say just make the switch to an i3 4150 or i5 4460 and an ASRock H81M-DGS R2.0. The i5 would pair up beautifully. The i3 is faster than the FX most of the time. FX needs to be overclocked, or in a very heavily threaded situation to beat an i3.

Motherboard: ASRock H81M-DGS R2.0 Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($48.38 @ Newegg)
Total: $167.36

Ah yes, I think its the OEM version of the phenom ii x4 830.
Luckily I have windows 8, which does not need a new copy when you change the mobo etc :)
My motherboard is the : 760GM-E51 (FX), do you think this is good enough to support it, or should I change to a better one? :D

Thanks for the answer ;)

These are just the lowest cost options with new board and CPU. FX 6300 is your least expensive overall option, obviously.
