I am getting ready for Windows 7 deployment, and I am using a x64 computer. I have installed WAIK, but I think I will need the x86 version. How do I find out what version I have? When I installed it, there was only one choice. When I create an answer file, I only have x86 choices, but I did choose an x86 version of install.wim. Can someone give me some guidance on this?

Many thanks in advance!

Look for the installation folder, if you find the folder in program files (x86) you have the x86 version in other way, you have installed the x64 version

Would you know where I can find the x86 version of WAIK? All the links I go to only show me one option which I guess is the x64 option. (probably because I have a x64 machine.) However, it is only showing me x86 options for the answer file - is that because I chose the x86 version of install.wim?

Do you have a short curt for that program? If the answer is yeas, do right click on it and select properties in the windows you should find the installation patch, if says x86..you are ok.

I did find it in the Programs folder, so I guess I have the x64 bit version. Now I need to figure out how I can download the x86 version, because I can't seem to find a link to it.

Check in the software web page, some programs automatically change from x86 to x64 when detect than the OS is x64.
