So I bought a new motherboard a while back. Hooked everything up and it seems to work fine. Yet the mobo is constantly going through codes ranging from 30-49. Which is sleep states. Searching the web helped none whatsoever. Any clue on how to fix this?
Specs are MOBO: MSI z97 Gaming 5
Cpu: i5 4670k
Ram: corsair vengeance (2x4)

Does this cause any problems with the function of the computer?

The board may be just trying to save as much power as possible when idle . You may have a switch , or BIOS setting , that can change it from power saving mode . But then if its not causing an actual problem why worry?

It really hasn't changed anything other than when it gets in the 40's my fans kick into overdrive for some odd reason. I tried looking in the BIOS, but couldn't find anything. I'll look again though.

It shouldnt be heating up though. All I'm running is League of Legends. I also have a Corsair h80i. I'm not overclocked either. It just kinda sounds like a jet engine when I'm in a match. I'm tempted to just ask MSI about it.
