I have purchased a new desktop and also two new drives I wish to be in a raid 1 configuration (mirror). The system will be arriving next week. I don't wish to use the original drive for the OS, but want to install the Windows 7 Pro OS to the new raid configuration. Would like to use the existing license from the new system. I think this will involve a system recovery dvd and a backup DVD. Would like the steps involved to save me the time and money of purchasing a new license. Same everything, new hard drive. Instead of playing this by ear 
I want to get it straight before the system arrives. I "suspect" the new system has an OEM license and I do not expect to have a cd of the OS to re install to the new raid drives. How should I go about this? The new system will probably come virgin as in not setup yet. My guess is I need to go thru the setup and then make the system repair? and backup disks. No applications to move just the Windows operating system.
