ignoring all other aspects of a motherboard, will the difference in performances for these chipsets be a large one or a small one?
I've read both answers, so im hoping to clear it up here.

oh I know that 970 is better for sure, however i was wondering if the 760g will really cause problems, or if it will be just slightly slower or something. obviously the more expensive 970 is better, but im wondering if the cheaper 760g is really going to cause problems. I know if using fx 8000 series, 970 is the way to go. however, I've heard mixed things about the fx 6300.
I guess the best way to word my question is how far behind is the 760g to the 970?

FX6300 usually runs fine on the lower chipset.
