Hello! So... I would like to discuss my situation here... I've got a AMD FX-8320 CPU @ 4GHz cooled by a Corsair H60 Push Pull configuration and my temperatures are fine (max at 65ºC). The thing is, I've been recently ressearching and thinking if a custom air cooler wouldn't be a better option. So, what do you guys think. Should I switch from my H60 to an air cooler? If so... Witch should I look for? Thanks!

Additional info:
-Case: Cooler Master K350
-VGA: EVGA GTX 760 SC
-Push pull config: Stock H60 Fan + Thermaltake DURAMAX Fan

Cooler Master EVO 212 or the noctua coolers are on my list for air
For water, get a h100i or h80

Anything is better than the H60 (it just looks cool, and thats about it). Noctua gets top honors with regards to cooling and looks (but expensive). If you're on a budget, like other pointed out the EVO Hyper 212 give outstanding performance for the price (<$30).

P.S. Triple check yoru case dimension before purchase any of the liste Air Cooling solutions

Best Luck

Yeah, I was thinking about the EVO 212... The H80 and H100i are too expensive for me...

I'll be accepting more suggestions if possible. Don't want to buy something that's not going to work out for me.

The 212 is the best budget cooler on the market and is a great choice.

65 degrees is fine, don't worry about it. Getting a new water cooler is a sideways upgrade. You may run hotter with a hyper 212 evo, cooler with a noctua, but then there's the price difference, I believe that CLC you got is in the middle somewhere.

Thanks! I'll look forward into getting it, then. Since it's really that popular :)

Whoa there cowboy! The H60 is outstanding. You may have had a bum experience due to a defective item or improper mounting. The Corsair Hydro H60 from 2010 to 2014 are excellent on a good gaming rig. I run a Phenom II 980 x4, each core OC'd at 4.1Ghz. A Geforce 760 GTX also OC'd by 10%.

My AMD Phenom II 980 x4 Black Edition never gets hotter than 58 Celsius.
