Monitor works but no picture

i have a HANNS G LCD monitor model HSF1040. When connected to PC and powered up comes on and works for 10-12 seconds, then fades to white. Have tried a different monitor on same PC no trouble.. Any ideas other than buy a new monitor, it's defective?

sounds like a bad monitor if you have another PC or a friend with a PC have them try it. oh and just make sure you did you also try different monitor cable, like VGA or HDMI, DP etc.
