Hi,
I was searching for a headset and i found that the corsair 1500v2 is great.
But then I found this newer headset called Kingston HyperX Cloud which has slightly better audio according to review sites but doesn't have virtual 7.1...
I know audio is personal but how can I know which one to choose?
Which one is the best you think?(or other sugestions are welcome as well)

thnx in advance,
Methe

for me, I realy like the Roccat Kave XTD it has REAL 5.1 i.e. 3 speakers per ear -you may find it lacking in base though because of this
but there are many settings in the software you get with it

I also prefere real 5.1 to digital 7.1 I feel it ads digital distortion... but thats just me

Thanks for your input!
I think it's a great headset but it is a double the price and I don't really want to double my budget you know...
Sorry for not mentioning it ,I forgot to mention I would like a headset that's maximum a 100 euro's.

hmmm I would prefer a headset...
Is the difference that big between headsets and heaphones? :??:

Headphones do not have a built-in mic but they have better sound quality / profile and sound stage than headsets. So in terms of quality of sound on a per euro basis, headphones are better. The sound quality on headsets are rather poor and even the best headsets that money can buy may not have sound quality that matches a competitive pair of headphones.

The only problem is that headphones do not have a microphone. But luckily there is the modmic invention and honestly, that is the only mic that I recommend using.

usualy headsets compromise between good mic and good sound, headphones are all sound ...good sound but this solution would cost way more than 100€ the mod mic itself is like 130...

Well like I said, my budget is 100€ and I would prefer a headset which would fit in my budget.
You got any suggestions or reasons to pick one particular headset?
