When playing league of legends my computer during a game will just freeze, what normally happens is it slows down to the point it stops and after awhile will just reboot ( or try to). Sometimes it doesn't and it just sit there it sounds like its on but my monitors stay blank, the fans are on and it sounds how it normally runs.

It happens with other games but less frequently...

what i need help with is to find out what is happening and why and what i need to potentially upgrade, my parents aren't particularly techy so i need to be able to tell them what needs to be upgraded.

If you need any information ask for it im not really sure how to post specs but i will if someone explains :).

Also i regularly check for updates on everything and disk defrag, i also got a new psu awhile back but i don't think the shop recommended a good enough one.

It's an unknown local brand. I'm afraid it's the PSU. CAn u do one more thing? Can u check ur gpu in some other Pc? although i'm confident that's it's the PSU but still want u to check the GPU. Also what are the temps before crashing/freezing ?

I think it's the PSU. Have u installed the latest drivers by doing a clean uninstallation of the previous one? What are the temps of your CPU and GPU while gaming? Download AMD Overdrive and see the temps before crashing, i.e.,while gaming.
