I'm building a PC and have a Nvidia GeForce GTX 770 Graphics card and a Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD3H motherboard. I installed Windows 7 all fine, I put in the motherboard disk and it worked, then it came to my Video Driver.

There is no connection from my graphics card to my motherboard apart from where it slots in however every time I come to install the drivers, it says it cannot detect the video hardware. The fans on the graphics card are spinning. Its not showing up in the device manager either but I'm not sure if that's about the drivers not being installed. I've checked over the BIOS quickly and there's nothing glaringly obviously wrong.

I have no idea whats wrong, can someone help?

Looks like you have a core i3/i5/i7 Haswell chip with Intel HD 4600. Disable Intel HD graphics in BIOS. Also, make sure the 6/8-pin PCI-E power connections are there.

There is one 6 pin connector from the power supply to the graphics card. I can't disable the Intel HD 4600 because otherwise there's just no display.

Yes. Disable it and plug your monitor into your GPU. Trust me. I have a 4770k and 2 270x's.

The screen just doesn't detect any input if I plug my monitor into my graphics card.

Are the fans spinning on the GPU? Are all of the PCI-E connectors completely plugged in? What wattage is your PSU? What are your full specs?

Yeah the fans are spinning. In my computer I have
Windows 7
Samsung SSD 840 Series
GA Z87X UDH3 Motherboard
Corsair TX750M
Intel Core i5 4 Core

The fans are spinning and I have one 8 pin and 6 pin connector from the power supply to the Graphics Card.

Go into the OS, install the drivers from the driver disc, and then uninstall the drivers from the Intel HD 4600. Also, try running a benchmark like 3DMARK 11 and tell me your graphics score. It could be working.

The disk says there is no suitable hardware, its not appearing at all, I've checked my BIOS and tried 3 different slots with my graphics card and still nothing. It is using my onboard graphics card. The graphics card is compatible but this is so infuriating - I feel I'm so close to this but the damn graphics card is being annoying. I tried it on a friends PC and it worked perfectly.
