this build would be quite a bit more powerful,

it would be able to run bf4 at high at around 60 fps.
bf3 would be maxed easily.
crysis 3 = probably med-high settings at 40-60 fps.
minecraft will be around 60-100 fps at max, due to its single core cpu utilization, and the fx series dont have the strongest cores.

Board has a 8+2 power design better fit for FX CPU's.

That cheap MSI motherboard appears on https://spreadsheets.google.com/spreadsheet/pub?key=0AgN1D79Joo7tdE9xMUFlMEVWeFhuckJEVF9aMmtpUFE&gid=0 noted for weak VRMs that are unsuitable for overclocking. On a budget, check out the Biostar TA970.
You can also save some money by getting rid of the bang/buck Loser Hyper212 EVO. The little-different Hyper212 Plus is $20 if you play the rebate game and win, and Masscool has a 120mm tower cooler that is $22 with no rebate necessary.
Although you won't be stressing it very much, be aware that the Corsair "CX" line is built using some inferior Samxon capacitors that do not like heat and have been cited for early failures. You should be able to find a Seasonic-built XFX or a SuperFlower-built Rosewill Capstone for a good price as well.
Edit: Work held up my reply, but it looks like SR-71 ninja'd me with his reply. I'd take the EVGA over the Corsair too.
