NeoECO for Dell Dimension E310: upgrade possible?

Hello, I`m sorry if this has been asked before, but I have a Dell Dimension E310, and I would like to upgrade the PSU to an Antec NeoECO 520 watts (link here:PSU). Do you guys think this setup is possible or are there any compatibility issues like some people saying that Dell makes special PSUs and that normal ones will 'fry' my mobo? I checked some other posts on Tom's Hardware and I saw a good PSU upgrade for my computer, an Antec EarthWatts PSU. The NeoECO I want has the same size and better specs. I also made sure that I won`t run out of power if I install the PSU. Is there a better alternative that is not too much more expensive?

Thanks in advance!

Yes, there's a very good chance that would happen. See if your MB connector is 20 pin or 24 pin, then check the pinout of your old 24 pin connection against this: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/power-supply-specifications-atx-reference,3061-10.html

There are adapters made for using a std ATX PSU with Dell proprietary boards, but I have not used them so I cannot vouch for them: http://www.atxpowersupplies.com/Dell-24-to-24-16-adapter.php
