my computer says my spotify is in offline mode and wont even play anything even though i pay for it to play offline so i thought it was a spottify problem because i can still google and facebook and stuff but when i tried to fix up my resume on word earlier today it says im not connected and wont pull up the resume format. my computer has run perfect until my mom made me make her an extra account on my computer for her because hers is too slow hint hint. ever since shes used it it started this and has run very slow my camera even stalled for 2 weeks i ran a norton scan and it said it found nothing but started working normal again except my internet access and i cant ask what my mom did on my computer because she will get mad but she was using it allot. she had it more than i did. i only use this computer for spotify and occasionally school stuff like every few months but now i dont know what to do?? help

Hint... if your mom's computer runs slow, if probably infected and/or full of temps, cookies, and general system trash... and now so is yours.

Run more security scans... use an online antivirus, a malware scanner (Malwarebytes suggested), a rookit scanner (AVG. Sophos, Malwarebytes, they have free antirootk scanners), Run CCleaner to remove some system trash out... and if you have access to your mom's account, log into it and run CCleaner from it, also disable her startup programs. You can do most of these from your own account but a better cleanup may be done from her's.

A second solution and probably best for the long run would be to do the same on your mom's computer so she won't have to use your's. These suggestions and more are...

These suggestions and more are suggested in the following thread... do as most of what's suggested there as possible for best results. http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1863469/slow.html

To disable startup programs:
Start / type msconfig / startup tab, and uncheck to disable programs except the antivirus.
