So right now i have about half the money i need to buy my gaming pc. i was wondering if its safe to buy parts one by one since you risk them being DOA and i have no clue if they will be since i cant test them, and i don't know if its okay to leave a part just siting in the box like that for a couple months although i thinks that should be fine for them. Or if i should just wait and buy them all at once

More about : worth risk

I like to order them around the same time , so that you can build within a weeks time so that if there are any issues , your still within warranty and RMA time frames.

You answered your own question Tristan. I don't recommend buying your parts piecemeal , like you say yourself, you may pass the return date for DOA & be left with an expensive paperweight. Don't panic & rush into it, use this time to fine tune your parts selection & watch how prices change so you know what an item should cost & if your getting a better deal when the time comes.

DON'T RISK IT
