Random frame drops

I have a msi 770 lightning and no matter what game it is it will be at 60 and then randomly drop to 15-20 for around 10 seconds and then it will go back to normal, i have no bottlenecks with 8GB ram and an 8350 anyone know what the problem could be?

How hot is your CPU getting in-game? I have about the same set-up (8350 + 770) and experienced the same sort of inconsistent performance, however I discovered that my CPU was running way too hot (averaging 75+ celcius ingame) , and after getting a new CPU cooler the problem was more or less fixed. However, if you're certain that temps aren't an issue, could you at least tell me the games you are running?

I have a custom CPU cooler and it is only getting to around 55C
