New Build Wifi-Issue

Hello,

The following is my system:

CPU:i7-4770K

Cooling:Corsair H100i

Mobo:Asus Maximus VI Formula

OS:Windows 7 SP1 64-bit

Memory: Dominator Platinum 16GB (2 x 8GB) 1866mhz

Storage:Samsung 840 EVO 1TB SSD
Seagate 1TB 7200RPM HDD

PSU: Corsair RM1000

GPU:Radeon R9 290X


So. I finished building it yesterday. I installed the OS and the drivers from the motherboard disc but I can't seem to get the Wi-Fi to work; the mpcie combo II. Any suggestions?

It lists "Intel(R) Ethernet Connection I217-V" in device manager. Would that count as recognised?

Indeed, there is. I installed it from the CD that came with the mobo. Had no luck with that so I then got the latest from the internet using my laptop and tried to install them via USB but it wouldn't take for some reason.
