After upgrading my computer to an i7, my computer takes about 13 more seconds to boot up, and it takes longer to wake up from sleep too! This irks me because you'd think upgrading to a faster processor would have the same or better boot times!
You could try reinstalling Windows, deleting all partitions on the SSD and creating a fresh partition. All your important data should be on the HDD.
the weird thing is the only new program i installed was a program called himachi, it's not a virus and I had it before and my computer was not slowed down by it when I had the i3, the only different thing is i upgraded to an i7 3770, and while loading files and doing things in windows is fast, restarting shitting down, and going to sleep mode takes significantly longer!
So i went to windows startup in takmanager, and there are two programs named wait for it.... "program"! They have not listed publisher and I can't go to the file location or look at it's properties...should I be worried and is this causing the slower boot?
