Hi... I started having a problem a few days ago where I lost all sound coming from my computer. The only way I can get sound is to plug my hdmi into a tv and get it to play through my graphics card. I have disabled and uninstalled and reinstalled all my audio drivers and still haven't been able to solve the problem. I have an ASUS P8z68-V Pro/Gen3 mobo. So my question is are there any other fixes I haven't thought about or should I just go ahead and do an RMA on my mobo?

Just call asus and see what they have to say, I've had them email me non released drivers before that fix issues like that. If you also don't feel like going through the long rma processor you could just buy something like a usb sound card for about 20 bucks depending on how much quality you are in to when it comes to audio.

Yeah if you want you could get something like a $70 pci-e sound card then you would have one for later on. Motherboard rmas normally make me get worried. One time when I sent in an asus board for an rma just for a problem with one of the ports they sent it back to me with the problem fixed but some jerk managed to mess up my pins on my old lga 1366 board.
