Hello! I have kind of a big problem, none of my PCIE slots works on my motherboard. My computer won't detect my video card at all, it doesnt show up in device manager and in BIOS. When I set the priority for video output to "PCIE" in BIOS, it loads with IGPU and when I go back to BIOS, the priority always goes back to "AUTO". The only thing I can do is plug my monitor on the motherboard and then I can actually see something because it uses Intel HD Graphics of my CPU. It doesn't detect the card even in 2nd and 3rd PCIE slots. The card's fan spins but no video output. When I connect my monitor on my video card then boot, the monitor doesn't even turn on.

It used to work before, but now it doesn't work at all. Well it never worked perfectly, when I first built my computer, it would detect my video card and sometime it didn't, sometime I had to reboot the computer multiple times before it detected the card.

What I did:
-I tested my video card in an other computer, it worked PERFECTLY.
-I installed an other motherboard in my computer, did not detect the video card either.
-I updated the BIOS
-Reset the CMOS
-installed every drivers for my motherboard
-the two 6 pins connectors are CORRECTLY plugged on the video card
-Took out each of my stick of RAM out then boot computer everytime to see if one of them was faulty
-Checked every screw on my motherboard, none was loose and none was screwed too tight
-the voltage (3.3, 5 and 12) is almost perfect.
-Checked the thermal paste for my CPU, it is perfectly applied.

Asus P8Z68-pro gen 3
MSI GTX 660 ti Power Ed
i7 2600
750 Watt PSU

Thank you so much!! Any help would be awesome...

Maybe the Power Supply is not giving out enough power? Maybe it is faulty and it's just giving enough power for the computer to boot correctly and all but not enough to supply the GPU?

Hello! Yesterday a miracle happened and when I booted my computer the card was recognized and I had video when the HDMI cable was connected to the card! I installed the most recent driver, the card was working PERFECTLY. I had to shut down the computer for the night and this morning the card was not detected anymore.

I went into device manager and under "Display adapters" only "Intel(R) HD Graphics" is listed. When I click on view/show hidden devices I can see my NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 Ti listed and when right click it and go to properties it says:

"Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer.
(Code 45)

To fix this problem, reconnect this hardware device to the computer."

Please help me! thanks!

The card is working for some reason at the moment, I played Battlefield 3 for 2 hours and no problem, I run it at Ultra.
When I will shut down the computer and try to turn it on again, the card will not work anymore.
