I'm soon going to build a computer for the first time, and i would like to have 1 HDD and 2 SSD's

so here is what i have planned:
- 120GB SSD only for OS and programs like steam/photoshop.
- 500GB SSD only for games.
- 3TB HDD for storage.

would this work? installing steam on first SSD and installing the games on the second?

More about : work

250+ GB SSD's are real cheaper now , that would be a good choice .
