Solution
It may have been. Google "how to test your RAM" You'll find links to programs (I like Memtest personally) and how to use them. You'll most likely find articles or questions asked right here at Tom's Hardware. I'm sorry I'm not doing the "leg-work" myself and linking you that info but I'm pressed for time this evening and thought you may want to get started doing those test to be sure it's your RAM that's the culprit. The test can take quite some time (6+ hours)

Hopefully you've pin-pointed the issue and will know what to replace to solve the issue for good. Sorry again for not providing more exacting information.

Enjoy your weekend :)

yes as far as i can find out that's what its telling me
i was swapping the ram sticks in and out and around and it seems like i may have had i bad piece of ram because i took it out and it seems to be working so far
could that have been the issue?
