Hi Everyone,

Okay so I just built a new home PC recently and I am working on getting up and running. I encountered some issues with my PC freezing and after taking it to a local computer store for some help they told me most likely my issue was my copy of Windows 7. It is a copy of Windows 7 N 32 bit that I got from another friend that runs a computer/electronics store. Regardless, it seems to be causing me issues and I decided to buy the real thing and finish this process of properly

My issue is installing the new Windows 7 that I bought. I inserted the desk but it won't run and I get an error message that reads as follows:

"This installation disk isn't compatible with your version of Windows. To upgrade, you need the correct installation disc. For more information, check computer's system information. To install a new copy of Windows, restart (boot) your computer using the installation disc, and then select Custom (advanced)."

I've been clicking around for a while and can't seem to resolve this myself (big time newb). Any and all advice is greatly appreciated, I am anxious to begin finally using my machine to its full potential.

Cheers!!
