this build is good for ultra gaming on max settings? ???

Solution
Yes this build will give you decent fps while playing games at ultra settings and the parts are compatible and great choice especially PSU & RAM, build is compatible for 2 way SLI of 780 Ti

Will need better CPU cooler for robust overclocking of i7 4790k

Solution
Yes, but overkill for you unless you need 3TB HDD, a 250GB SSD, an advanced overclocking motherboard, 16GB of ram, and a 1000W PSU.

Get 1TB or 2TB WD black HDD, get a 120GB SSD, get a different motherboard for cheaper (people here can find you one), get 8GB of RAM, get an i5 4690k, and keep the PSU and GPU. You can keep the i7 if you want to, it is just necessary.

Your current GPU will be amazing for games.

If you have cash just flowing out of your pocket, then ypou have no reason to not get what you picked out, but if you want something more practical, us what I chose.

The HyperThreading on i7 can be helpful in games like Watchdogs and to-be released multi-threaded optimized games.

Also OP will need higher wattage PSU for 780 Ti SLI, 650W PSU won't be enough.

Though OP can save some money by sticking with Asus Z97-A LGA 1150 motherboard, great choice for overclocking i7-4790k without paying heavy premium.

This is a cheaper alternative that will be able to run all games smoothly at their highest settings. It has a Red theme too

I am just saying how he can make it cheaper. He can get an i5 and be fine. Very few games really take advantage of hyper threading. Also, I changed the 650w because I didn't see that he said SLI.

Any game optimized to use 4 cores(almost all new games)will take advantage of HT on i3 and the game optimized to use 8 cores ( few for now ) will take advantage of HT on i7.

i5 4690k is a great choice but if OP have the budget then i7 is the way to go.
