Hi I'm looking at the PSU linked above. I can get it for $41.00 from now till 6/23 because it is on sale/mail in rebate/ promo code from pc partpicker. The problem is I don't know if its good or not as it does not have any reviews. Do any of you know? Also if its not good do you have a good 650 watt PSU that is under $60 you could link? Here is what it will be powering: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/LhMK23
I plan to OC and get another 760 for SLI in the future. Also as I will be ordering these parts over a period of time ( presumably 3 months ) is there anyway to check if they're DOA as most of them only have a 30 day return policy. If this PSU is good I'll be ordering it first so if I can check the other parts through that please tell how as I've never built a PC before.
EDIT: I don't care if its modular, semimodular, or nonmodular

I don't think you'll get ANY good powersupply under 60 dollars, your better off going with a decent quality mainstream unit for like 120 or so if you can get a-Seasonic G-650 80Plus Gold 650W that is a good powersupply and should be in your price range (I cant check newegg I cant get into the US sect without clearing my cache... which I don't want to do)

Hmm, but I need a 650 watt PSU if I can't get anything good for $60 how about $70. As original post said I am looking to SLI in the future. If there are none I'll just stick to a 450/500 watt for now and buy a new one in the future. Would prefer not to do as the previous PSU would be worthless.

There are very good Rosewills (Capstone, Lightning, Tachyon all Super Flowers, which are rock-solid), but there's little information yet on the Arc, so I wouldn't buy it. Their cheaper Rosewills are a mixed bag of manufacturers, so I'd stay away from this one until some proper reviews are out. There are too many good power supplies that *have* been tested to roll the dice.

Ok, I'm kinda confused now though :/ had another thread on my whole build and was provided a PSU tier list and apparently the Thermaltake I linked you guys is t5. The list is from end of 2013 though. Did the PSUs get better from then? Here's the list http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1804779/power-supply-unit-tier-list.html
However I did find 2 XFX PSUs that fit my budget. Your thoughts on these?

I'll get the Thermaltake though if its good. But if you could share your thoughts on these/ if they are better I'd appreciate it :)

That psu list is out of date on some parts, but for the most part it's ok.

Older TR2 units were the ones that were tier 5.
